The Kwande Ushongo People Organization (KWUPO) has wisely convinced Kwande indigenes to step aside for the Federal House of Representatives seat, acknowledging the rotational principle that should guide our electoral process. This gesture underscores the importance of equity and fairness in our political landscape. With Agir axis having produced notable leaders such as Senator David Iornem and Hon. Kundu Swem, and Atirkyese having tested the waters through Hon. Chile Igbawua, the baton now rightly passes to Mbaivende.

In the context of Ushongo’s political arithmetic, MATA people are out of the race, having produced two Federal Members, equivalent to MBAGWA’s output. As the cycle turns, Mbagwa is poised to lead again, with MBAIVENDE being the only integral part yet to have a representative at the Federal level. This presents an opportune moment for Mbaivende to break new ground and assert its claim to the seat.

In light of these developments, we wholeheartedly support Hon. UTIM ISAAC TERHEMBA, an independent candidate from Mbaivende, for the Kwande/Ushongo Federal House of Representatives seat. His candidacy embodies the aspirations of Mbaivende and the broader Ushongo community, who yearn for inclusive representation and equitable distribution of political power.

We urge all stakeholders to rally behind Hon. UTIM ISAAC TERHEMBA, ensuring that Mbaivende’s turn at the Federal table is not only recognized but also leveraged for the collective progress of Kwande/Ushongo. The time for Mbaivende is now.

Hon. Isaac Terhemba Utim is qualified!
A vote for him is a vote for a lasting change!
